Moulds conducts Orlando at Longborough

Christopher Moulds returns to Handel at Longborough Festival Opera this season. Christopher will conduct Orlando from the harpsichord in this new production directed by Sinéad O’Neill with the Academy of Ancient Music. Chivalric misadventure and the madness of unrequited love – Orlando follows intertwining, intense relationships across the themes of love, war, and insanity. The cast includes Beth Taylor (Orlando), Anna Devin (Angelica), Katie Bray (Medora) and Andrew Foster-Williams (Zoroastro)
Highlights in the 2026/2027 season includes Moulds returns to Warsaw for performances of Juditha Triumphans, Staatsoper Berlin for performances of Dido & Aeneas and a return to the Bayerische Staatsoper for Orfeo ed Euridice and Idomeneo.
