Francesca Dego gives Seattle debut
Francesca Dego performs Busoni’s Violin Concerto with Seattle Symphony next week, giving her joint debut with conductor Daniele Rustioni.
The concerts will contrast Busoni’s Violin Concerto with Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 1, orchestrated by Schoenberg, and Webern’s chamber orchestra arrangement of Bach’s Ricercar No. 2 from The Musical Offering.
Francesca’s 2024 recording with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and conductor Dalia Stasevska won the prestigious Franco Abbiati Prize.
