Tito Munoz returns to NY Phil
Tito Munoz returns to the New York Philharmonic this week to lead several performances of Music for America, as part of the orchestra’s acclaimed Young People’s Concert series. The celebratory American programme includes Copland’s An Outdoor Overture, selections from William L. Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony, and Roberto Sierra’s Sinfonía No. 3 “La Salsa” and takes place at the famous Wu Tsai Theater at David Geffen Hall.
We are excited for Tito to take the podium in his home city amid a season that also takes Tito to the Nashville Symphony, Antwerp Symphony, Jena Philharmonie, Nürnberger Symphoniker, Komische Oper Berlin and the SWR Symphonieorchester.
