Francesca Dego tours Japan
Francesca Dego is touring Japan where she will give concerts at Suntory Hall, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, Sapporo Concert Hall, and Musashino Civic Cultural Hall. Beginning tomorrow, Francesca returns with Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra where she will play Brahms’ Violin Concerto with Daniele Rustioni on the podium.
Dego gives recital concerts in Sapporo and Tokyo where she will perform the world premiere of Carlo Boccadoro’s ‘Virtuale’, and Nicola Campogrande’s ‘Io cammino muovendo le dita’, and the Japanese premiere of Francesco Antonioni’s ‘Gli Occhi di Giulia’. These works are dedicated to Francesca as part of the Feathers in Time project, which commissions ten of the most important living Italian composers to write solo violin works, inspired by the poetry of her father, the late Italian poet Giuliano Dego.
Best of luck, Francesca on this varied and exciting tour!
