Anthony Marwood tours with Scottish Chamber Orchestra
Violinist Anthony Marwood returns to the Scottish Chamber Orchestra this week to tour Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dumfries. Anthony will lead the orchestra in a programme of Schumann and Mozart, including Schumann’s Violin Concerto in D minor, and his ‘Manfred’ Overture, Scherzo and Finale, Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in B-flat, alongside Handel’s Sinfonia from Agrippina.
Having recently returned from touring Australia and New Zealand, which saw performances in Adelaide (UKARIA), Sydney, Canberra, Wanaka, Cromwell, and Queenstown, Anthony will embark on playing in Scotland’s premiere venues: The Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh; City Halls, Glasgow; and Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries.
