Parameswaran makes Atlanta Debut

Vinay Parameswaran makes his debut with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra this week, conducting performances on 23 and 25 October at Atlanta Symphony Hall. The programme, titled Celestial Illuminations, features Holst’s The Planets Op. 32, Nina Shekhar’s Lumina, and Reena Esmail and Kala Ramnath’s The Voice of Nature, with Kala Ramnath as Hindustani violin soloist alongside the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
This engagement follows a busy week in Cleveland, where Parameswaran led several educational and family concerts with the Cleveland Orchestra. The first of two visits to Cleveland this season, he looks forward to returning in December for further performances.
