We are proud to announce appearances by three JBM artists at this year’s BBC Proms.

First, cellist Laura van der Heijden takes to the Royal Albert Hall stage on 26 July for Cheryl Frances-Hoad’s concerto Earth, Sea, Air with the BBC Scottish Symphony conducted by Ryan Wigglesworth.

Next on 5 August, Proms favourite pianist Benjamin Grosvenor will be joined by enormous massed forces of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Chorus and their Principal Conductor Ed Gardner for Busoni’s Piano Concerto. Specially featured in the anniversary year of the composer, this will be the first time Busoni’s epic work has been performed at the Proms in Benjamin’s lifetime!

Finally, on 10 August – yet more hundreds of musicians will join rising star Tess Jackson – Associate Conductor of the National Youth Orchestra – for her debut at the BBC Proms with NYO, performing a new work by British composer Dani Howard specially commissioned to celebrate 10 years of ‘NYO Inspire’.

An exciting summer of music awaits!
