Later this month, Maria travels to Feldkirch, Austria as soloist and director with the Pforte Chamber Orchestra, performing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and Symphony no.3 ‘Eroica’ in the ballroom of the Stella Musikhochschule.

This is followed by two chamber music performances at Wigmore Hall. Then on the 6th May Maria returns to Wigmore with regular chamber music partner, pianist Jeremy Denk and The Gesualdo Six vocal ensemble for a programme exploring Ives’ violin sonatas and ‘some of their thematic source material, derived from hymns and popular songs of the period’.
