Viviane Hagner is awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany
The president of the German Federal Republic, Frank Walter Steinmeier, awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundesverdienstkreuz) to Viviane Hagner for her work on the cultural exchange between Germany and Poland at Krzyżowa festival. The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany is the only federal decoration of Germany and is awarded for special achievements in political, economic, cultural, intellectual or honorary fields.
Viviane is the Artistic Director and co-founder of Krzyżowa-Music; an ambitious festival promoting the exchange of ideas and culture whilst allowing young and aspiring musicians the opportunity to rehearse and perform with internationally acclaimed artists. This summer they will celebrate their 10-year anniversary.
