As Artistic Director and Principal Conductor, Olli Mustonen starts the new season with the Turku Philharmonic and long-term friend and collaborator Steven Isserlis performing Britten’s Symphony for Cello and Orchestra and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 15 on the 7th and 8th of September.

Olli then goes on Riga to conduct and play piano with Kremerata Balica for the final of their festival, before heading to Zurich to perform Beethoven’s version of his Violin Concerto with Paavo Järvi and the Tonhalle Orchestra, for three concerts.

He finishes his September at the Holstebro Internationale Musikfestival as Composer in Residence, where he will perform chamber music, lead a masterclass, and have some of his own compositions performed.
