Alpesh Chauhan returns to the US this week, making his debut with the National Symphony Orchestra Washington at Wolf Trap. Reuniting with celebrated violinist Hilary Hahn for Brahms’ Violin Concerto, he also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 at the iconic venue. For further details, click here.

Following his return to Europe, Alpesh’s next engagements take him back to Düsseldorf, where he is Principal Guest Conductor of the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker. He will lead them in their annual performance at Lichterfest at Schloss Benrath in mid-August before opening the orchestra’s new season with a programme including Brahms’ Double Concerto with James Ehnes and Pablo Ferrandez, and Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2 at the end of the month. Alpesh’s next visit to the US will be for performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall in October.
