Tonight Benjamin makes his recital debut at Salle de Chambre, Luxembourg Philharmonie playing a wonderfully varied programme of Bach-Busoni, Schumann, Ravel and Prokofiev. He returns to the Wigmore Hall on Sunday for the same programme before three further recitals next week – where he exchanges Schumann’s Fantasie for Kreisleriana – as featured on his latest Decca album SCHUMANN & BRAHMS which has been described as ‘a masterpiece’ ***** (Le Devoir). He performs in the Berliner Klavier Festival at the Konzerthaus, in Mainz as part of the SWR2 International Piano Series and returns to the UK to give his final recital of the main season at The Sage Gateshead, where he is Artist in Focus.

Returning to concerto repertoire, he looks forward to further performances of Beethoven’s Triple concerto alongside Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Nicola Benedetti with the Hallé (19,20 May), Royal Scottish National (26, 27 May) and the Philharmonia Orchestras (7, 8 June), as well as Chopin’s Piano Concerto no.2 with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (1, 2 June).
