Today the BBC announces its annual summer celebration of music at the Royal Albert Hall and other major venues across the UK. JBM are proud to have artists perform in three exciting concerts, with Rachmaninoff featuring heavily in the programmes for the composer’s 150th anniversary year:

Sunday 16 July, 11am
Benjamin Grosvenor performs a solo recital on the Royal Albert Hall stage during the opening weekend of the Proms, with a colourful programme of orchestral and opera transcriptions for piano including Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune and Ravel’s La Valse.

Sunday 6 August, matinee
Cellist Laura van der Heijden performs a chamber Prom at Dewsbury Town Hall with her duo partner Jâms Coleman in a selection of works by Rachmaninoff and Pejačević, and the Proms premiere of a new work by Lara Weaver.

Sunday 6 August, evening
Benjamin Grosvenor returns to the Royal Albert Hall for Rachmaninoff’s much-loved Piano Concerto no.2 with the Sinfonia of London, conducted by John Wilson. This Prom will also be televised and available for streaming at a later date, to be announced.
