Tito Muñoz returns to the Utah Symphony
After very successful performances in Salt Lake City in March 2022, Tito returns this week for a programme which includes Gabriela Lena Frank’s Elegía Andina, Florence Price’s Piano Concerto in One Movement and Shostakovich’s monumental Symphony No. 10.
Tito’s 2022-23 season is his penultimate as Music Director with the Phoenix Symphony, after which he becomes Artistic Partner there for two further seasons. Other engagements include the BBC Scottish Symphony, Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, Orchestra of St Luke’s, SWR Symphony Orchestra (Stuttgart), American Composer’s Orchestra, Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia (Madrid) and Sphinx (with whom he gave their 25th Anniversary Concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC).
