Olli Mustonen in Russia

Olli Mustonen performs Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, as part of Yuri Bashmet’s birthday celebration. He is joined by soloists including oboist Albrecht Mayer, operatic bass René Pape and soprano Aida Garifullina, as well as vocal ensemble Intrada.
Next month, Mustonen returns to Russia for the Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi, performing Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor at the Festival’s closing gala which is set to be star-studded with a “constellation of virtuosos”.
