This week sees British conductor Alpesh Chauhan conducts his opening concerts as Principal Guest Conductor of Dusseldorfer Symphoniker at the Tonhalle Dusseldorf.
Beethoven 6 | Tonhalle Düsseldorf
Alpesh’s first project in his new position includes Beethoven’s Symphony No.6 and John Psathas’ ‘Leviathian’ Concerto for Percussion and Orchestra, which was commissioned by Tonhalle Dusseldorf and dedicated to Alexi Gerassimez, the work’s soloist.
This thrilling programme is a fitting start to the beginning of this exciting new partnership.
