After a concert last Thursday with Corinthian Orchestra at St James’ Church Piccadilly leading Brahms’ Third Symphony and Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, Leonard Elschenbroich will make his debut with Orkest Phion this week in Enschede.  The outdoor concert, ‘Symphonic Summer’, will feature a wide programme including Dvořák, Borodin, and Bizet.

On Sunday 5 July, Leonard will lead the Glyndebourne Opera Gala performance at the Reform Club.   Marking the collaboration between the club and the festival, Leonard will conduct operatic highlights from Cosí Fan Tutte,  Madama Butterfly, The Marriage of Figaro, and La Boheme with soloists Mariana Fernandes, Angelina Dorlin-Barlow, and Johannes Moore.  Elschenbroich is in his second season as Music Director of Orchestra at the Reform, a position created especially for him.

Toi, toi, toi, Leonard!
