Benjamin Bayl conducts Mozart in Montpellier
Conductor, Benjamin Bayl, takes to the podium for his French operatic debut this weekend in Agnès Jaoui’s production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni at Opera de Montpellier. The show will open on 24th May, with performances running to 31st May. The cast includes Mikhail Timoshenko as the Don, with Evan Hughes (Leporello), Esther Tonea (Donna Anna) and Karine Deshayes (Donna Elvira). Further information here.
In June Benjamin conducts Handel Radamisto in for the Handel Festspiele Halle and will conduct Les Pecheurs de Perles for New Zealand Opera early in the 2026/2027 season.
