Gábor Káli returns to the podium with Orchestre de chambre de Paris tonight to celebrate the centenary of Kurtág’s birth.  At the famous Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Káli will lead Kurtág’s Movement for viola and orchestra ‘Signs, Games & Messages’ with Tabea Zimmermann, for whom the work was dedicated.  ‘Signs, Games & Messages’ will be complemented by other pieces which inspired the composer, including Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 in B flat major, Bartok’s Divertimento (first movement), and a Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished”.

The concert will be broadcast live on France Musique in the programme Le concert du soir presented by Clément Rochefort and available for streaming in France.
