We are delighted to announce our appointment as Worldwide Booking Agent for Jess Gillam, in association with her General Managers, Music Productions.
Acclaimed saxophonist and broadcaster Jess Gillam is celebrated for her electrifying performances and charismatic stage presence. As a soloist, she has appeared with orchestras including the BBC Orchestras, DSO Berlin, Baltimore Symphony, Danish Radio Symphony, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, NDR Elbphilharmonie, and the Detroit, London and Sydney Symphony Orchestras, as well as the Royal Liverpool and Munich Philharmonic Orchestras. Her performances have taken her to leading venues such as Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Carnegie Hall, the Wiener Konzerthaus, Konzerthuset Stockholm, and Barcelona’s Palau de la Música.
The first saxophonist ever to reach the final of BBC Young Musician (2016), Jess has since received a Classic BRIT Award, a Times Breakthrough Award nomination, and was appointed MBE for Services to Music in the Queen’s Birthday Honours (2021).
A passionate collaborator, Jess founded the Jess Gillam Ensemble in 2020. Since their debut, the group has performed to sold-out audiences at Wigmore Hall, Latitude Festival, Mozartfest Augsburg and Bath Festival. She records exclusively for Decca Classics, with two chart-topping albums to date.
Equally at home on air as on stage, Jess presents the award-winning BBC Radio 3 programme This Classical Life, now in its seventh season, and is in regular demand as a host for concerts and television, including the BBC Proms and BBC Young Musician.
