Benjamin Bayl Conducts Concerto Koln in Handel’s ‘Flavio’

Benjamin Bayl will conduct Concerto Köln on the 28th of October at the Kölner Philharmonie, celebrating the ensemble’s 40th anniversary in a performance of Handel’s tragi-comic opera ‘Flavio, Re de’ Longobardi’.
The performance will feature soprano, Julia Lezhneva as Emilia, and counter tenor, Rémy Brès-Feuillet as the eponymous Flavio, and will be repeated at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw on the 8th of November.
These concerts represent a continuation of Benjamin’s close artistic relationship with Concerto Köln and will be a joyful celebration of the Cologne ensemble’s 40 year history.
