JBM welcomes conductor Gábor Káli to the roster
James Brown Management is delighted to announce the signing of German-Hungarian conductor Gábor Káli for worldwide general management.
Gábor Káli was awarded the prestigious Nestlé and Salzburg Festival Young Conductor’s Award in 2018. In the same year, he won first prize at the inaugural Hong Kong International Conducting Competition. He has earned a reputation as one to watch amongst the younger generation of conductors and has received excellent reviews and standing ovations in major cities and venues such as Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Philharmonie de Paris, Luxembourg Philharmonie, and Budapest’s Béla Bartók National Concert Hall.
Recent and upcoming highlights include debuts with Queensland Symphony Orchestra, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, NDR RadioPhilharmonie, Kurtág’s Fin de partie with Theater Basel, MÁV Symphony Orchestra, Pannon Philharmonic, Enescu Philharmonic Bucharest, and Orchestre de Chambre de Paris.
Gábor commented on the new collaboration: “I am very happy to start working with James Brown Management. It is an agency which really cares about quality and precious musical tradition”.
James Brown comments, “I have been aware of Gábor’s work and reputation for some time and am delighted to have the opportunity to work with him. When I saw him conduct, I knew in moments that he is an outstanding talent”.
We are pleased to welcome Gábor to JBM and look forward to supporting his continued success across the international stage.
