About the Role
We are looking for a bright, highly organised, and proactive individual to join our team as an Assistant Artist Manager. This is a pivotal support role, working closely with Artist Managers to ensure engagements for some of the world’s leading instrumentalists and conductors run seamlessly from start to finish. You’ll help turn a planned concert into a memorable performance.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ideal for someone with a passion for classical music, outstanding attention to detail, and the confidence to liaise with high-profile individuals and organisations across the globe. Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support for artist engagements, ensuring all arrangements are in place and every detail is covered
- Liaise with concert promoters, orchestras, and international partners
- Organise artist travel and accommodation worldwide
- Apply for visas and manage artist documentation
- Manage contracts: request, process, and track agreements
- Maintain and update artist biographies, promotional materials and marketing assets
- Coordinate interviews and media appearances with press or PR teams
- Work with publishers regarding performance materials and sheet music
- Prepare accurate schedules and itineraries, including rehearsal times, dress codes, travel logistics, and key contacts
- Input and maintain artist data using our diary management system, Overture
- Support the finance team by reviewing artist invoices and statements
- Post and manage all company social media content (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn) in collaboration with the wider team, ensuring brand consistency and engagement
- Update the company website (WordPress) regularly with artist news, tour information, and media content
- Contribute to general office administration and support your team as required
About You
Essential:
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks
- Strong communication skills – confident and professional in person, via email and on the phone
- Excellent attention to detail – accuracy is crucial when dealing with performance information, logistics, and contractual matters
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to anticipate needs
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, empathetic, patient and adaptable – key qualities when supporting artists and liaising across cultures
- Comfortable using digital tools and software, including data entry systems
Desirable:
- A background in classical music (whether through study, work, or performance)
- Prior experience in arts administration, artist management, or a similar office environment
- Familiarity with WordPress and social media content planning
- Foreign language skills
