This week, Norwegian violinist Henning Kraggerud takes his acclaimed arrangement for strings of J S Bach’s Goldberg Variations to Ireland for performances with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, to whom he is no stranger. Play/direct performances across Ireland on 7th, 8th, and 9th March also include talks by Henning as he unlocks this intricate and endlessly fascinating masterpiece and gives insight into his approach to arranging the iconic work and the process behind it.

Later this spring, Henning looks forward to appearances with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and conductor Matthew Halls for the Bruch Violin Concerto and to doubling up on the Kraggerud as he conducts the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, joined by his daughter, Alma, as the violin soloist.
