‘Breathtaking’ music-making in Munich
Congratulations to Hyeyoon Park and Benjamin Grosvenor for a wonderful week in Munich!
The duo gave a recital on Tuesday evening at the Allerheiligen-Hofkirche which received the highest praise from Suddeutsche Zeitung – describing their partnership as at the ‘highest quality in every respect’.
Tomorrow (Saturday 14th), Benjamin opens the Berliner Klavier Festival at the Konzerthaus with a solo recital including Liszt’s Sonata in B minor and other works by Franck, Albeniz and Ravel.
These two world-renowned chamber musicians were also featured across BBC Radio 3’s Lunchtime concerts this week with broadcasts live from the Schubertiade back in Autumn 2021 including Strauss’s Piano Quartet with longtime collaborators Kian Soltani and Timothy Ridout. You can listen here.
