On this year’s World Piano Day, Zlata Chochieva continues her strong relationship with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and returns to play at their Tchaikovsky Festival, which was originally due to take place in 2020 but was cancelled due to the pandemic. The concert on 30th March features Chochieva playing the composer’s famous Piano Concerto No.1 and will be broadcast live on Danish Radio. She also participates in the chamber music concert on Sunday 3rd April, with Ian van Rensburg and Eugene Hye-Knudsen, and a programme exploring the intimacy which Tchaikovsky wrote into his music, featuring his breath-taking Piano Trio.
