Anthony Marwood and James Crabb gave a captivating performance at Wigmore Hall on Monday 26 May, which marked the end of their UK tour. This has since received glowing reviews, with Richard Morrison of The Times describing it as an ‘electrifying recital‘ marked by ‘the wit of their interplay…the magic of the timbres they conjured, their vitality, their astonishing dexterity, but also the remarkable breadth of moods they summoned, from eerie whispers to devilish fierceness – all this clearly enthralled the audience‘. The concert featured James Crabb’s arrangements for accordion and violin and ‘was a sheer joy, as [the duo] together traversed a range of style and tone‘ (Bernard Hughes, The Arts Desk).

The performance was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 as part of their Lunchtime Concert series and can be played back on BBC Sounds.
