Hyeyoon Park with the Multi-Story Orchestra
Dynamic violinist Hyeyoon Park returns to the Southbank Centre this weekend for a special performance with the Multi-Story Orchestra. ‘Verified’ is an exciting and poignant work written by Kate Whitely and her young creatives exploring the search for authenticity and acceptance amidst the growing pressures of social media and living in a digital age. The piece was first performed at Bold Tendencies in Summer 2023 and commissioned by Borletti-Buitoni Trust for their twentieth anniversary, of which Hyeyoon is a distinguished alumnus.
Next month Hyeyoon performs in chamber music projects across Europe both in recital and Piano Quartet with colleagues Kian Soltani, Timothy Ridout, and Benjamin Grosvenor, including a return to Queen Elizabeth Hall on 18 October and the Quartet’s debut at the Luxembourg Philharmonie.
She rounds off a very busy month making her debut with Cape Town Philharmonic in Shostakovich’s first Violin Concerto on 31 October.
