Olli Mustonen in London and Milan with Steven Isserlis

Olli Mustonen embarks upon a duo tour with long-time recital partner Steven Isserlis to Barnes Music Festival and St. Luke’s Music Society in London, followed by further recitals at Serate Musicali in Milan and Unione Musicale in Torino, performing Mendelssohn’s Variations Concertantes, Mustonen’s own Cello Sonata, Martinu’s Sonata No. 3, and Beethoven’s Cello Sonata No. 3 in A major.
Mustonen is then set to conclude his busy month by returning to conduct Turku Philharmonic Orchestra where he is Artistic Director, and is re-joined by Isserlis in a programme featuring Sibelius’s Tapiola, Walton’s Cello Concerto and Martinu’s Symphony No. 2.
